So lets try this again!
I'm still totally miffed that I spent almost an hour yesterday writing an entry and then livejournal ate it. Sometimes I hate computers. ^_^ It was weird too cause I clicked post and it flashed to the page where it gives you the option of viewing your post and what not and then flashed back to the post a new entry page. All it left me was what I wrote in the subject box and my mood theme. If its going to delete everything why leave my subject and my no longer correct mood? I tried to retrieve it but obviously no luck. GAH!
Yesterday was my little sisters 21st birthday. (How on earth did that happen?) I took her and her boyfriend out to The Olive Garden and then to a bar called Fast Eddies because on your birthday you spin a wheel and get free drinks. I still had my chip from my 21st so I used that and had Rachel save hers. Its actually a really boring bar so we didn't stay long. For the actual drink portion of the night we went to a bar that is within walking distance from out apartment so we wouldn't need to worry about a designated driver. WOO!!! We played pool and darts and ate a ton or two of bar food.
I know this makes me sound like a partying fool but I just really think you are supposed to get drunk on your 21st birthday. Get it out of your system so you don't end up wanting to go to the bar every weekend. Not like risk your life drunk but silly and goofy and fun drunk. My sister is not even hung over today!!! She made us go home at 11 and then watched T.V.
Sigh!
What did you guys do on your 21st birthday?
I am trying to think of everything I wrote yesterday. Oh! Kittens!
Last weekend I helped my friend Krystal's cat have kittens. We walk into her house and I call out "Hey Powder where are you? Powder? Kitty cat when are you going to have your babies?" Well she meows and walks out of her cat house completely covered in blood, dragging a kitten from underneath her. Krystal screams and runs out of the house yelling "I can't watch! I can't watch! Brittany Do something!!!!" You know if I was in labor I would not leave two of my babies and go walking around but thats what she did. She was one confused cat! She ended up dropping the kitten she was dragging in the middle of the floor and then left her there! It took me a while but I finally got her to grab the kitten on the floor and go back to her kittens in her little house. I let out a big breath. WHEW! So what does she do then? She grabs the kittens by the tail and puts one in a shoe, one under the bed, and one in Krystal's closet. And then leaves them to go eat. She had blood up to her neck and she didn't even try to clean herself! This cat was lost!!!!! Up until then I had been trying to not touch her kittens because I wasn't sure how she would react to it but after about 20 minutes of this I had to rescue the one under the bed. I think she forgot about that one and it was squealing up a storm. It was so sad. I brought the kittens to her in the closet and she finally seemed to get that she should feed them and clean them and such. It took forever though. A funny thing though. About 7 hours after she had the first three she had a fourth kitten. Is that normal?
I've never seen kittens being born before but the whole experience just didn't seem right. My personal theory is that Powder was too young to have the maternal instincts. She is tiny and isn't even one year old yet. Almost but not quite. And before you ask, this was not planned by Krystal. Powder escaped right before she was supposed to be fixed. Surprise!!! ^_^
It was crazy!
Oooh! Yesterday I had my first math test of the quarter and I aced it! 100%!! WOO HOO! I am good! ^_^ Especially because I haven't taken a math class other than a business math class since 2006.
Now if only I would stop skipping my first class of the day. ^_^ I find it boring and its all out of the book so when my alarm goes off I'm like "I don't wanna! ZZZzzzzzzzzzz!"
Probably not a good idea. LOL
Hey! Awesome! All over the computer lab and on every single computer it tells us ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD!!!! Well the boss lady just walked around and handed everyone treats! Yum!
